Whats not to like. Light weight, American V-8 power and a ton of fun to drive. Just stinks living in NY and not being able to drive it everyday, between lousy drivers, rain and snow it is just not feasible. Jun 10, 2010

In stock form the Duster is about a 0-60 in 6 seconds, but mine isn't stock. It's got a 360 v8 with a holley 650 performer intake, stepped tti headers, magnaflows and 2.5 inch exhaust in an x pipe. The heads are decked .0030 and ported/polished, with comp cam's behive springs and a .488 lift cam. The trans is a A904 with a trans-go shift kit. Interior is basically stock, but with seats taken from an 86 ford turbo coupe, custom door panes, custom upholstry, and custom heater controls. The trans is shifted through a center console factory slap shift shifter.
The car handels like a go cart thanks to an inch and a quarter anti roll bar, polygraphite front bushings, and 76 Duster disk brakes. Although they are non powered they will still stop on a dime. Oct 25, 2009

I bought this car originally from a little old lady. It was a slant six, bench seat, column shift weekend drive that I totallly redid. Lots of hard work and cash poured into this car. I managed to drag race it for several years before starting married life and a family. Some day I hope to return to the racing circuit and reclaim my lead in the racing trophies from my brother.Jan 07, 2008
