Performance- With the relatively small 383 and the huge rear tires it has good
acceleration from a stop, but really comes to life from 55 mph to 100+ mph
Build Quality- Mechanically the car is built with great quality, I've never been
left stranded or had to put anything but typical wear parts into it (Brakes,
shocks, Etc)
Appearance- The 71 is one of my favorite styles, it has broad shoulders, and
beefy looks.
the mileage isn't bad if you keep your foot out of the 4 barrels, and it is a fun
car to drive, it gets looks everywhere you go, and they are finally starting to
offer replacement panels for the restoration of them. Jan 20, 2011

This 1971 Dodge Charger is a Superbee, on of the only years they made it for the
Charger. It has a 440 Magnum in it. It is a really fun car to take out on the streets.
This car can handle just about anything that goes up against it. And definitely will
be a huge threat once we put a V10 under the hood. The downside to driving this
car is the gas mileage. If you don't have the money to go out driving every now
and then, then don't get it. It gets a whopping 8 miles to the gallon without your
foot in it. Aug 21, 2010

Long front end but classic mopar. Raw and in your face power combined with sweet 70's mopar style. From a time when we didn't worry about the fuel prices.. this was before the crisis hit. I remember this car with a lot of fondness.Nov 09, 2009

Same as the Challenger, needs restored; don't ask, it is not for sale either. It is top of the line SE with leather interior. I would like to know how many were built with leather interiors because I did not realize that it was an option. I bought it wrecked, one of the previous owners hit a deer.Jul 04, 2009

It is a 1971 charger with matching number 383 2 barrel with a 727 tranny. The interior is in great shape and original too. The exterior would be considered to be a 20 footer. It looks great form 20 feet away but when you get closer you can see the flaws in the bad paint job the previous owner did. The original color is light gun metal gray and i would love to paint it back to the original color. I have a ton of upgrades parts for the car and can list them off if you would like to buy it. This car is for sale and if you or anyone you know is interested write on my wallJun 26, 2008

Mine will be in on Thursday and should be ready to go for early August....hopefully for Pow Wow days! It will be dark amethyst in color, the blower coming outta the hood(hopefuly that goes well!), and a go-wing. The 383 Magnum should be pushing 400 hp or more by time we're done.Jun 11, 2008

La Dodge Charger est un véhicule mythique de l'époque des muscle cars. Rivale des Ford Mustang, elle est aujourd'hui vénérée comme un classique de l'automobile et une référence esthétique.Apr 05, 2008

My dad owned a 1971 Dodge Charger it was red with black interior.
It had a 383 holly 4 barrel 3 speed transmission. My dad was killed in an auto accident when I was 15 and when I turned 16 this was my first car. WOW could that car fly. I hate to admit it but I had that car up to 200mph once. I had a friend that drove chevys and he kept bugging me about racing him. He used airplane fuel I used the cheapest gas I could get. So oneday I raced him beat him by 2 cars links. By the way I am a 42 year old woman. I ended up selling that car because I needed the money. Boy I wish today that I did not do that. I have two sons of my own now and I tell them stories obout that car and it is fun. I never tell them how fast it would go.Dec 21, 2006
