Buick Big Block Power they are torque monsters. With 139k miles, still holding up well without rattles. Beauty from the rear and front, bizarre from the sideview. Costs? maintenance has been low but with a 455 engine well just a bit thirsty. I would rate the Queen Mary as one of the tops I have owned, my Buick GS a-body had more fun, but the queen has more ride quality. Jul 14, 2009

Some will say this handles poorly it does if you compare it to a modern - however for its day it was ready good - if you got the F40 heavy duty suspension it was amazing. I own a ^60000 miles mostly original non GS stage one f40 one. It is completely reliable, scary fast, has great braking, handles better than say our brand new dodge magnum and is hoot to drive. Presently its all apart for a repaint and cosmetic restoration - the biggest mechanical part being changed is the shocks. what more can I say for maintenance Aug 09, 2008
