My dart is a slow-ass project. primer and rust galore. right now i have balljoint issues so handling is in the crapper more than usual. however i have big plans for this car. for instance, replacing the stock 225 slant six with a small block 360 V8. also respraying the car lime green and adding hood scoops, black out hood, bumblebee stripe and vinyl top. its goin to be the coolest classic mopar driver around!Oct 20, 2010

this car was given to me by father for not having a minor consumption and for not having a driving under the influence or any type of drug or alchol charge when i turned 21 he built it when he quit drinking and he wants it to by my AA like it was for him it beat up because a few months before i was born my mom accidently blew it up and we spent 2-3 years rebuilding the motor and didnt have the money to repair damages to the body it has sat out side for about six to seven years in minnesota winters and needs some body work but still a very competitve car on the strip fastest recorded time being a 12.6 and suggested time after rebuild 11.1- 11.5 so it looks like crap but moves very well Aug 21, 2010

1st car, UGLY AS SIN !
That was then....now, I would kill to have it back. At 18 we rarely can appreciate what we have :)
The car T-Boned a tree and suffered a radiator hole and a dented hood. Was the most solid car I ever owned.
That slant 6 though, pain in the butt to get people to work on it cheaply :)Dec 15, 2009

Awsome straight line performance. Sounds great. 340; 4-speed; 3.91 rear end. Color is Top Banana with a black Bumble Bee stripe. Does not like corners. Build quality is typical 1970 economy car. This car is the most fun to drive I have owned. I always have a goofy grin on my face when I drive this car. Never use the radio.Dec 21, 2008

Fast, loud, room for six, huge trunk, typical granny car with a huge set of balls. Built 340 cubic inch V8, 375hp, built 727 Torqueflite tranny.Mar 14, 2008

I am totally biased when it comes to my Dart...I have owned this car for almost 4 years now and have put many dollars and hours into updating this solid musclecar into the new millenium. I mean jeeze...My name is on the side of it ;) I built a new 225" Slant Six, bored .030" over to 229". I probably spent more on this six cylinder than most do on a healthy V-8, but then again...This means that the already undestructable slant six will be lasting even longer. The best of the best...Ross Forged Racing pistons that cost $550...And the list keeps going.lol
The Dart won 'Best Car' my senior year of high school. It has been amazing at the racetrack...Very consistent and has helped me win many bigtime races. Overall I have over 1000 passes on the car in 3 short race seasons. Pretty phenomenal. And when I get the Dart painted after college, it will truly be a 10Dec 27, 2007
