Not a bad little car L20 engine is a bit sluggish even with a heap of mods but what it lacks in go it makes up for in handling it handles really well never had much problems tough as nails car and its gets driven hard look like a shoe box but that's cool with me the car owes me about $6000 all up and counting very fun car to drive i love itOct 02, 2009

The picture does not match the 1600, Mine was the 1600 roadster. 2 seat hardtop convertible. Dual sidedraft carbs, 4 speed manual and tons of fun. Drove this car over Oretega hwy,18 miles of mountian road, to work for 3 years. Finally crashed it into the back of a Dodge Caravan. He had antilock brakes and I did not. That extra six feet made a big differance.Jul 10, 2009

My car is sexy, great looking on the road, turns heads. This car is nearly 40 years old and still drives like brand new. Handling is great as many people have also agreed as they are used regularly for Rally. Also these cars are popular to do engine conversions and become drag cars etc.Oct 04, 2008

Best car I've ever owned. Melbourne / Brisbane at 45 miles per gallon, 104mph between Cobar and Wilcannia. Great colour, Beige, didn't show the dirt and did 72,000 miles in it in 3 and a half years on two clutches and one set of brakes. Handled like the rally car it was bred to be. Fantastic car and fun to drive.Sep 08, 2008

Go Fast or Go Home
This car was so much fun, you just want to keep driving, even when the race was finished.
Handled like a dream, powered out of corners like a V8 and just kept on going.
Had a ball driving it and owning it, it was fast.Aug 03, 2008
