It's an old truck used for doing old truck things. Taking dirt roads, hauling
things in
the bed, pulling trailers, and it had the original 350 so no smog emissions
hp
decrease. Any old car needs maintnace and sucks gas like no tomorrow.

The truck's stock engine isn't too great but theres enough room for a 450. The rear end fishtails a lil bit over dirt roads, but thats to be expected with the rear wheel drive and extended bed. The original paint is still perfect after 41 years! 0-62 is anywhere from 8-12 secconds depending on the engagement of the 4 barrel carbs... This truck can also be VERY QUIET!

shaved door handles, custom tailgate, tilted lic plate, custom roll pan with flush mount led tails, 350 bored to a 383 small block, wheels and tires still undecided, project should be finished by the summer of 2011 with a custom silver and red 2 tone paint job in corvette metallic paintAug 29, 2010

Well. I drive a 70 C-10. Needs some work. But the motor is solid. Runs a 383 stroker combo'd with a Turbo 350 3 speed. Pushing 410 Horse with 470 Ft Pounds of torque. Moderate engine mods. Mostly bolt-on other than the machine work. Its a grandpa truck on steroids pretty much.Aug 01, 2009

came with all 4 original hubcaps and also has optinal heavy duty leaf springs it is a heavy half ton 6 bolt wheels, 307 v8, AM radio, no ac, not a base C10 but not a top of the line one either. It si a project truck for me to restore.Apr 19, 2008

It was originally bought by my great grandfather brand new in 1970, my dad bought it from him in 1983 when he passes away and my father has givin it to me as my first vehicle to own and to have as a project truck it has a re-built 350 with a 650 cfm Edelbrock Performer carb, Edelbrock Performer Intake, Edelbrock Performer-Plus Cam, power steering, headers, True-dual Flowmaster, K&N air filter, Hurst 3 on the floor, 373 gears, getting ready to completely go through and get a new front suspension with 3" drop coils on the front and 4" drop on the rear. Basically it's a work in prog needs some body work but the truck is everything to me. and oh yea the truck pictured isn't mine.Mar 03, 2008
