My father gave me his Corona when I turned 15. The ONLY problem I had with it was the pin on the shifter fell out for reverse and wore out reverse. Totalled it out when I T-boned a 76 Cadillac. But even after I hit the other car the motor ran for about 8 seconds before it died!Jul 12, 2013

A true POC, how Toyota made it to the biggest auto maker in the world is hard to understand having this car in memory.
To be honest, it was fun to drive, but it fell apart under me and finally the engine seized during a cold, really cold, morning.

This was my mom's car. I loved it, reliable, but when time to fix it came, only a few wrenches and standard tools were needed. The only weak points, reverse broke 3 times in 30 years (not so bad) and the water pump corroded easily. The engine was strong and very reliable.May 13, 2008

I got this little car for $100 and it has a strong little engine and about a million miles on it. I get compliments on it. He does not like to go over 60 mph.May 01, 2008
