You don't see many on the road today. You didn't see many on the road in 1980 either?? I guess that makes it a decent driver? Not worth a full restore job. Just a great driver with many years of memories.Feb 24, 2015

well worth looking for in no rust states. forever rebuildable as far as engine/ transmission go. can be a real sleeper, even with a slant 6 engine, stay away from the 340 cu in. they were kind of doggy. paint as needed and enjoy an original 60's american car! Sep 08, 2013

I Love the reliability, the fact that I can do all the work, easy
and lots of space to work and the fact that this is a cheap car
that gives you some kind of street cred apparently...everyone
had a family member that owned one.May 02, 2010

Performance wise, it ran 12 seconds at atco raceway. as for build quality, it was very well built because my uncle, grandfather and i practically put it back together from the frame up. the appearance wasnt that great. for what we had to work with the body was in pretty good shape.Mar 27, 2010

My uncle built this car in the mid 80s. Traded it with my father for a '32 Plymouth Coupe.
440 Engine Drag Set up with fuel cell
Hoosier slicks
paint is a little rough and the brakes aren't that great but hey it's a drag strip car!Jun 24, 2008

I bought my 69 Dart new in Oct of 68 for $2463. It now has almost 300,000 miles on it's 225 slant six. This car has never given me problems and is still as dependable as the sun rising in the morning! Inside and out it still looks like a new car. My one and only problem with this car is deciding who in my family to will it to, as it's surely going to outlive me!
LOVE MY DART !!Feb 11, 2007
