Do not buy unless you like noises, squeaks, and bangs cause you will hear a lot of them. Wind goes through the windows making it challenging in the winter. You can hit something going 30 and not have to total the vehicle out as everything is metal, fender skirts, battery tray, dash board, etc. Only a few plastic parts which is opposite of today's modern vehicles. Not to say this makes them safer by any means just tough. All naturally aspirated with manual clutch & choke. Anybody can work on these things they are easier to work on than modern push mowers.Nov 19, 2014

I built this truck from the ground up replacing everything i could and
making it my own. With customized and aftermarket parts, it not only
makes it fun to drive but nice to look at. the power plant is a bored out
30 over 350ci with aluminum heads and a holley 670 double pumper
carb. It has a turbo 30 transmission with a stage 2 shift kit all leading
up to a B+M ratchet shifter. The exterior paint is viper orange laid
down on all new doors, fenders cab and cowl induction hood. Shining
up the front is an aftermarket billet grille with a chrome sport bumper
all riding on 20 inch chrome goliath rims on 36 inch IROK super
swamper rubber. the interior has all been redone with new carpet,
aftermarket white face gages, dvd player and screen built into the glove
box, leather bucket seats replace the bench seat that it came stock
with. Stopping this orange beats is front disc brakes and rear drum
brakes with all new brake lines front to back. Oct 19, 2010

Its got a solid 3 speed trans with granny low it can go just about any were, braking make shure u pump these brakes its got all four drum brakes. It handles like a dream considering no power steering. The build quality is great its still here isnt it. of corse you are going to have squeeks and rattles but if theres nothing wrong with it . Ive got to say the best looking truck chevy come out with my favorite is these trucks were desined not only to be a work horse but a cruser its got all four coil springs the same set up thats in a 1993 chevy cavalir. it depends on the gas milege on the motor if your going to drive a v8 your going to pay v8 gas prices. this truck is the funist to drive its like a blast from the past.Oct 01, 2010

I thought this color was great. Put some mudgrips on it to combat that Moffett mud. Got stuck a lot more times in this than the old Pinto. Had my first real date in this truck. Never bothered with much of a stereo. Had a Kraco with some crap-ass speakers. But I jammed to Boston and Led Zeppelin none the less. Until the stereo was stolen while parked behind Lufkin High School one night when we were gone on an out-of-town baseball game. Damn thieves!!Aug 26, 2010

This is Marge. My grandpa bought her brand new in September of 1968 in Rockdale, Texas. She is a low option farm truck with no power steering or power brakes and no radio.
3 on the Tree trans with a 307 V8.Jul 19, 2010

Its a classic, with a original flair, originally used on the farm, has a 250 w/ a 4speed.... Just put in a new gastanks, and a new monojet and fuel lines. Adding Diskbrakes up front soon. From a 72 C20. its a c20 not a c10. they had no option for the c20Oct 04, 2009

This was my first pickup and second vehicle overall. Nice 283 cubic-inch block with 307 heads. 3-speed transmission with column shifter. Glass packs and white spoke wagon wheel rims. Big mudgrips on the back. Not nearly the mudhogger that the Pinto was, though. Had my first date in this truck. Had a nice stereo until it was stolen because the doors wouldn't lock...argh.Sep 07, 2009

This was a great truck, I really enjoyed it. It really didn't have much power with the 250 cu in 6cyl and 3 on the tree trans, but I had absolutely no issues with it overall. I would advise a v8 and auto trans thoughJun 18, 2009
