It's not the fastest but it does have a nice 'rumble' on acceleration. Dark windows help keep the sun's heat out. Got 'the nod' from a Ferrari driver during our Pacific Coast Highway trip. We've been end-to-end on Route 66, coast-to-coast on U.S. 50. Florida to Indiana on U.S. 41 and U.S. 231. Detroit to Minneapolis on U.S. 12. We've been blessed to see the flight 93 memorial in Shanksville. We're trying to get a trailer hitch installed so we can pull a lightweight travel trailer (Burro/Casita/Scamp). We're 'seasoned citizens' and sometimes restrooms are just not spaced properly for us. We'll run it as long as we're physically able and as long as gasoline is available.Jan 30, 2015

The engine and performance are decent but improving due to a rebuild. For being 43 years old it's in really good shape with very little need of repairs and its a blast to drive. this one has the 289 and manual transmission so it's pretty nice.Aug 09, 2009

awesome car to drive a bit of a challenge if cornering to quick. if only she a bit more power the little old six could have been changed for a v8 than it would have really been a fun car to drive. it is a shame i dont got it nomoreAug 06, 2008

1966 XR Falcon. 6Cyl super pursuit motor, 3spd auto column shift, front bucket seats. Pretty stock at the moment, but plan to repaint, 347ci stroker engine, C4 auto on the floor and 18" Billet wheels, etc.Apr 09, 2008
