This car was made to last. The car is reliable and durable. It's about fifty years old and still runs pretty reliably. (Only default as of this year is the check engine light stays on- possible wiring issue- which runs the battery out- so I unhook the battery each time I stop for a while). We replaced egnition last year....which had an issue in wiring (that's when the engine light started acting up). Windows are in need of TLC (they aren't all rolling-up- again...so motors probably need replaced). Could use TLC here and there, but it has the ORIGINAL engine and transmission...not many cars can say that....for there age and miles :) Great car just for that! Gas is only concern- wish those prices would go back down. Mine is '66 and I believe it may have 149,000 or 249,000 miles (I know "big difference" right- the odometer only reads 49,000 but oil guys said it couldn't be that low so we figured the high numbers to be safe). :)Jun 18, 2012

The only reason I rated it sooo low is cause it's just a project car right now. Hopefully in the next couple of years it'll be up and running again. So far on the agenda I need to pour some deisel or penatrating oil into the cylinders to loosen up the cylinders. I hope to get the motor cranking over here in the next couple of weeks.Jan 17, 2010

first bought the car in michigan when i wasn't even looking, took it home and got a really good friend's dad to do the full exterior restoration, now it looks better than factor and has a 40 over motor with a mild cam. The car handles like a boat and only gets at it when the secondaries open but i dont care, it sounds awesome and couldn't see myself letting it go anytime soon, especially with a fresh built nailhead.Nov 07, 2009
