I'm going to restore my 1961 F100 Unibody
short bed. My dad owned one years ago. He
had a police interceptor 429 in it and this
truck blew EVERYTHING away. No kidding, he
blew the bottom end when he chained an old
house and tried to rip it off it's foundation.
My truck will have a 429 Hemi in it I'm
building as we speak. Street Chevy's and Mopar
can only watch this FORD. Nov 07, 2010

It is a factory 4X4 and still runs like a top. Have big plans for her. My Dad owned this truck for 20+ years and then I bought her from him. 292 V8 and four speed are all original with factory fomoco spot light. The factory Ford aluminum rims off a '93 really set her off!!Sep 03, 2008

This is a greatly designed truck. I have never actually driven it, as I am only 14. Our current truck of this make is not running, but it soon will be. I am going to fill out the performance page, with all bad, because I have never driven it. Do not take this as it meaning what says.Apr 13, 2008

I am only 14, so I have never driven this truck,(or anything. Legally.) But from what I have seen of this truck, I LOVE it. Exept for some small things. Of course, the current truck of this paticular make is not running, but I am trying to get it back so. I love the sleek design of the unibody (cab and back half are connected. E.G. No gap there) It is unique, and very nice. However, it is a terrible cause of stress on the vehicle as it can't flex over bumps, rail road tracks, and such. I love the cab, height, grill and almost everything about it. Especially the V8
