This car sat behind a barn on the farm my brother and i grew up on when i decided to build a hot rod for my 13yr old son this car came to mind. My brother and i played in it when we were kids and dreamt of cruising in it. I went back and sure enough there she sat just like it was waiting for me to buy it. Picked it up for 500 and let the games begin.Jan 08, 2014

Overall the 1953 BelAir is great car for cruisin' and car show hopping. It is easy to find parts and one can do much of needed mechanical work. I would reccomend the Chevy BelAir for any car buffs. Enjoy the fun owning a collector car.Mar 17, 2012

Classic 1952 Chevy Pickup. Straight six engine, 4 speed tranny with a granny gear. Super sweet lines on this truck. Does not get good gas mileage, rides like a real truck (very stiff), wont go over 55 MPH, but who cares this truck is for fun. Turns heads everywhere.Mar 15, 2012

preformance is decent its no fuel injection but it still gets down the road.
its not drop dead gorgeous but its fun to cruise in.
it isn't cheap but its not brake the bank either.
it still turns heads at the car shows.

The 1953 Chevy is a bulky car. It has the inline 6 with the speed manual. It runs and drives very well. the car needs work but picking up on its build quality I must say I am inpressed! The styling is OK, not alot of trim but has class. Not built for performance.Oct 23, 2008

1951 Chevy Styleline Deluxe Coupe..... HELLO FACEBOOK.. add earlier cars!
I love my '51! It's the coupe, so the roofline is short and it has a 1956 265 V8...so it GOES! Otherwise... STOCK, mild custom with 74,000 original miles--sat in a garage for 25 years before I bought it. Ifn fact the story of HOW I bought it is kinda funny:
I went to one of those "Birthing" classes with my wife before our first son was born. I brought in a copy of the car trader paper... one thing led to another and next thing I know, there's a man hunt for ME. Yes, I was outside calling on this '51 chev., when a dozen pissed off pregnant ladies came out looking for me. Only one mattered.... My wife!
Hey, it all worked out. Within HOURS I was loading it on my trailer as my wife stood by so pregnant she looked like she'd POP!
And, YES... that is my oldest son sitting in the '51. He even drove it around the yard STANDING on my knees!
