I love cruising around in my car and the feel of it just seems right to me. It makes me happy and relieves a lot of stress when I start it up and let it idle. Taking it out on the road is a beneficial experience I cherish on a daily basis. No negative comments to really say about it. She runs great.Apr 28, 2015

This car has been a great car. It is a 4 door, so has good access for kids in the back seat, it gets good gas mileage for a 4 door vehicle and still has plenty of power if you need it. Even though it is a 4 door car it still is sporty looking.May 08, 2014

Love the power and handling. Have had to replace bearings three times. GM quality in bearings for this and similar models are poor. Heated seat is fantastic. Seating positions to anywhere which makes traveling very comfortable. Large trunk and roomy rear seats add to the overall great family car design. Mar 05, 2012

Really love this car just trying to work out any little problems such as the abs system and new hubs. Rides great and not to bad on gas either. I would definitely get another Pontiac any time . The acceleration is pretty darn good too. Feb 08, 2011

good over all family car, lots of room, power is average, good braking, excellent gas milage,excellent handling (wide track suspension) low cost maintenance, very fun to drive would reccomend too a small family of 5 or less ,lots of trunk room(holds 4 sets of golf clubs with ease.May 29, 2010

Great, never had anything better, fast off the line low governed top end good milage, fun fun fun no repairs other than normal wear and tear, like tires brakes sparkplus oil/fuel filters, my favourite car in the world . period.Oct 24, 2009

Drives fast!!! This car is great if you have a family. There is lots of room in the back seat. You can store alot in the very large trunk. This Grand Prix drives nice, it has not need to get any major repairs.Aug 09, 2009

I bought this car used with 20K on it in 04. I now (July 09) have 159K on it.Gas miliage has been consistaint adverage of 27-29mpg. My SO had a Chrysler 300m and says it handles great and has great acceleration...I agree! Besides it looks sporty for a 4dr. So far all I have done is regular maintenance and one new battery. Engine still sound so hopfully will get another 159K out of it.Love my car!

Pros: Love the technology incorporated into my GP. Head-Up Display, Auto Dimming Mirror, Monitored Traction Control, On Board trip Computer, etc...
Cons: The window/lock control on the driver's door is constantly shifting. The tranny kicks at times, took it to the shop they said they couldn't find anything wrong with it. I even has the systemflushed and serviced. IDC I love my carMar 16, 2009

Great family car to own, even with out a family. With my 3.1 liter V6, I get decent acceleration, great gas millage (34-35 miles per gallon highway), the brakes are easy to modulate and have plenty of stopping power, and the car handles great out of the box. Build quality is a bit off, it got better in 2004,but I can't complain, I love the chunky buttons and controls. Has a few minor rattles in the interior, but nothing the stereo can't hide. I love the aggresive styling of the car, and the car is a hoot to drive. Parts can be a bit pricey for it, but well worth it I think.Feb 02, 2009

Bought the car used with 120,000 on the clock, now it has 138,000, only had to change the oil and the plugs. Runs great hasn't missed a beat in the year I've owned it. Fantastic on the freeway, will cruise all day at 75 and deliver 24mpg, interior is a little dated with the 90's styling but otherwise okay, power windows don't always work but it seems everyone i know that owns a pontiac has the same problems. I bought the car originally because it had such a high star crash rating. Great care would recommend to anybody buying one. Next time though I will look at the 3.8 GTP. Headlights could be brighter, sometimes its hard to see in the dark, I am upgrading my bulbs to the bright blue kind. Tires can be expensive but i found some for only $75 a pieceJan 29, 2009

Great power to weight ratio, pretty good at the gas pump.
Comfortable with all amenities within reach, not too noisy in the cabin and the regular maintenance is not as expensive as most vehicles 5 years off the lot. No major repairs yet and the only thing I had replaced was the brake pads so farJan 05, 2009

This is my daily driver car. It has 77k on it and havent had any problems. Its fully loaded without HUD and DIC. I like GM's 3800 cars which is why I bought it. It is a very smooth ride and quiet. The leather heated seats are great in the winter as is the sunroof for summer. It has plenty of room as well as great hwy MPG of 32 on average while looking sexySep 07, 2008

really well built, great car for in the winter and even looks great when its shined up. kinda heavy and slow but its the base model so i cant complain. havent dropped any major money into it because i bought it clean and i keep it clean. but overall its fun to drive down windy roads taking turns hard because it sits so wideAug 23, 2008

Really nice car to drive and own. Everything about it so far is really likable. BOSE stereo is KILLER, accelaration is FRIGHTENING, Supercharger 'whir' is awesome, overall it's a great car..........just be hangin' on when it the supercharger hits full boost !!!! Overall it's not a bad car, but last year I had to replace the radiator cover and now this year for some reason my blower isn't blowing any heat out. It get very good gas mileage and it is very roomy.Nov 16, 2007
