The engine and drive train has never had a problem. Had to replace the front wheel bearings and rear springs.

nice truck, excellent quality, decent power from the 2.7 liter 4 cylinder engine, 24 mpg, 5 speed transmission. cost of ownership? not much, idk, its really reliable so not too much care needed, besides the normal stuff which should be done anyway.

I have had this truck for over 12 years and I would not trade it for anything except another toyota.
