I liked having this for a starter car, got me where I needed to be, never once broke down, good fuel economy, low maintenance costs, reasonably priced when I bought it. it had a sun roof and power windows wich I loved

The Sunfire GT is pretty fast for the class of vehicle. It had the 2.4 DOHC Quad 4 probably the most unreliable engine GM ever built. Good power and torque, but being all aluminum weakens the engine. Mine spun the main crank bearing at 190K and these engines are not cheap. The lower end sunfires are much more reliable.

This is my first car I bought from a dealer. Performance: Good performance for an I4 Quality: Had minor problems with Heater system fuse (connected to license plate light too) Appearance: Stock appearance sucks... Mine looks good though... Fun Factor: FWD, What more can I say :) Other Thoughts: Insurance is very high for this car...

Fun little car to boot around in. Civic Killer with 2.4L DOHC.
