What RAM 3500 do most buyers choose?

The RAM 3500 years with the most listings are 2023, 2024, and 2025.

These higher-volume model years tend to be the most popular because they give you more inventory to compare and a broader spread of trims and prices. That usually makes it easier to find the right combination of capability, equipment, and value.

What is the RAM 3500's resale value?

Most model years are down year over year, which creates more room for used buyers to find value. The largest drops are in the double-digit range, while a few years have moved down only slightly and one older model year has risen.

The 2015, 2020, and 2021 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Should I buy a used RAM 3500 now or wait for the next model?

Buy now if:

• Price trend: The 2025 model is at −10.7% versus a year ago, and the 2024 model is at −15.72%.
• Deal availability: The 2025 model has 28.4% good and great deals, and the 2024 model has 31.4%.
• Sweet-spot year: The 2023 model has the most listings at a current average price of $68,839 CAD.

If you're buying used today, the 2023 model year offers the best mix of value and availability. If you want the newest version, it may be worth waiting for the next model year's inventory to build up.
