How much does the Mitsubishi RVR cost in today's market?

Used Mitsubishi RVR prices span a wide range depending on model year. Here's what the market looks like right now:

The Mitsubishi RVR's current nationwide average price is $20,728 CAD, and its lowest point over the past year was $20,019 CAD. Recently, prices have come down for the 2023, 2024, and 2025 models, making now a good time to shop recent model years.

Is the Mitsubishi RVR a good car?

Mostly yes — the Mitsubishi RVR earns a solid all-generations owner rating, and shoppers tend to value its straightforward ownership experience. The strongest owner feedback in the data sits in the mid-range to upper range, with newer and older model years both contributing to that overall picture.

The all-generations owner rating is 3.5/5 across every model year in the data.

26.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

Are Mitsubishi RVR models reliable?

Owners consistently give the Mitsubishi RVR respectable ratings across the model years in the data, and the available expert feedback points to a generally reassuring ownership experience. That combination suggests a used RVR can be a sensible choice for buyers who want a compact SUV with broad owner approval.

• Owners rate the Mitsubishi RVR between 3.0 and 4.0 out of 5 stars across all model years in the data.

For long-term ownership, the model's broad spread of listings and steady owner ratings suggest manageable risk for used buyers who choose carefully.

What Mitsubishi RVR do most buyers choose?

The Mitsubishi RVR years with the most listings are 2024, 2023, and 2025.

These higher-volume years tend to attract more shoppers because they give you more inventory to compare and more chances to find a well-priced example. They also sit close to the newest model years, which often keeps them near the centre of used-car demand.

What is the Mitsubishi RVR's resale value?

Most model years in the table are down year over year, which is good news if you're shopping used and want more room to find value. The largest drops are in the double digits, while only a couple of years show relatively small declines. That pattern points to a market where buyers can benefit from softer pricing across much of the lineup.

The 2018, 2025, and 2019 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Should I buy a used Mitsubishi RVR now or wait for the next model?

Buy now if:

• Price trend: The 2025 model is at −4.56% versus a year ago, and the 2024 model is at −16.44%.
• Deal availability: The 2025 model has 27% good and great deals, and the 2024 model has 25.9%.
• Sweet-spot year: The 2024 model has the most listings at a current average price of $23,695 CAD.

If you're buying used today, the 2024 model year offers the best mix of value and availability. If you want the newest version, it may be worth waiting for the next model year's inventory to build up.
