How much does the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross cost in today's market?

Used Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross prices span a wide range depending on model year. Here's what the market looks like right now:

The Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross's current nationwide average price is $23,573 CAD, and its lowest point over the past year was $22,290 CAD. Recently, prices have come down for the 2023, 2024, and 2025 models, making now a good time to shop recent model years.

Is the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross a good car?

Yes — the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross has broad owner approval across its model years, and the strongest expert feedback centres on its bold styling, standard all-wheel drive, and improved infotainment in the latest redesign. The all-generations owner rating is 4.5/5 across every model year in the data. Expert reviews rate the 2022 model among the highest across all years.

The main trade-offs are the dated cabin feel, the underpowered-feeling powertrain, and the fact that the higher trims add equipment rather than transforming the vehicle's overall character. 33.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

Are Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross models reliable?

Owners consistently give the Eclipse Cross strong ratings, and the model's appeal is reinforced by its straightforward powertrain and responsive infotainment in the latest expert review. The overall impression is of a vehicle that delivers familiar, easy-to-live-with ownership traits rather than chasing complexity.

• Owners rate the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross between 3 and 5 out of 5 stars across all model years in the data.

For used buyers, long-term ownership risk looks manageable if you choose a well-kept example and stay on top of routine maintenance.

What should I look for when buying a used Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross?

Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection and automatic emergency braking, with blind-spot warning, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, and a surround-view parking monitor available on higher trims.
• Infotainment: an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

What Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross do most buyers choose?

The Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross years with the most listings are 2023, 2025, and 2024.

These higher-volume years tend to attract more shoppers because they offer a wider selection of trims and prices. That usually makes it easier to compare listings and find a version that fits your budget and equipment needs.

What is the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross's resale value?

Most model years show double-digit price declines, which can work in your favour if you're shopping used. The smaller drops on the newer years suggest those versions are still commanding stronger prices than the older ones. Overall, the table points to a market where recent examples have softened, while older examples have fallen more sharply.

The 2023, 2020, and 2025 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Is the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross safe?

• 2022: 8/10

The Eclipse Cross comes standard with forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection and automatic emergency braking. For the safest used buy, the 2022 model posts the highest confirmed score of 8/10.

Should I buy a used Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross now or wait for the next model?
