What should I look for when buying a used Mercedes-Benz GLB?

Key things to evaluate:

• Fuel efficiency: The AMG GLB35 is rated at 11.2 litres per 100 kilometre in combined driving, up from 9.5 L/100 km for the GLB 250 4Matic.
• Infotainment: Mercedes Benz User Experience (MBUX) with a 10.25-inch digital gauge cluster and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
• Safety package: Driver Assistance Package with adaptive cruise control, lane-centring assistance, evasive steering assist, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, rear cross-traffic warning systems, and Active Emergency Stop Assist.

Which Mercedes-Benz GLB trim should I buy?

• GLB250: The practical choice with standard 4Matic all-wheel drive, strong everyday usability, and the best-value positioning for most shoppers.

What Mercedes-Benz GLB do most buyers choose?

The Mercedes-Benz GLB years with the most listings are 2025, 2023, and 2022.

Higher-volume years usually give you more choice in trims, colours, and equipment combinations, which makes it easier to compare listings and find the right fit. They also tend to be the years shoppers cross-shop most often, so pricing and deal activity are usually easier to evaluate.

What is the Mercedes-Benz GLB's resale value?

Most GLB model years are showing clear downward movement, which can work in your favour if you want a newer luxury SUV at a lower used price. The steepest drops are concentrated in the newer model years, while the smaller changes suggest some years have been adjusting more gradually.

The 2023, 2021, and 2020 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Is the Mercedes-Benz GLB safe?

• 2022: 9/10
• 2021: 8/10

The 2022 model includes Active Brake Assist, rain-sensing wipers, and an Attention Assist driver monitoring system.

For the safest used buy, the 2022 model posts the highest confirmed score of 9/10.

• Tech: MBUX includes a 10.25-inch digital gauge cluster and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
