The Genesis G80 has earned high praise from owners across model years for its impressive luxury features, smooth ride, and exceptional value compared to competitors like BMW and Mercedes-Benz. Many drivers appreciate the car's sophisticated design, spacious interior, and advanced technology, often highlighting features like heated second-row seats and an outstanding sound system. However, some owners have critiqued aspects like the lack of performance in certain engines and minor comfort issues, such as long drive seating. Overall, the G80 is highly regarded as a strong luxury option for those seeking premium quality without excessive costs.

I LOVE this car. I started with the G70 which is nice but I like special features. I’m accustomed to driving, BMW, Volvo, Mercedes luxury vehicles. When I tell you that my Genesis G80 is EVERYTHING! It is……I definitely would recommend this vehicle ♥️♥️♥️

Love this car I’m actually considered buying another one. I love all the features. I think the only thing I could probably use is Wif a hotspot Wi-Fi connected to your Genesis yearly subscription rather than have to go to another place like Verizon to keep it open.

Luxury cars like the 2026 G80 are a vanishing species, so Genesis deserves credit for keeping it around.
Korean conglomerate Hyundai Motor Group (HMG) understands that some people don’t want an SUV or a cold and technical German sports sedan. That’s why HMG’s Genesis brand still offers three sizes of luxury sedans with the G80 serving as the midsize model. Available with a turbocharged four- or six-cylinder engine in several trim levels, the 2026 G80 reeks of old-school elegance in the very best way.
Verdict: Quick, confident, and calming, the Genesis G80 is a refreshingly authentic luxury car that’s not trying to be something else. It lacks a badge that conveys success, but buyers can let the opulent styling and sumptuous interior do all the talking.
