What should I look for when buying a used GMC Acadia?

Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitoring with steering assist, a surround-view camera, and traffic-sign recognition.
• Infotainment: an 11-inch digital instrument cluster and 15-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus Google built-in apps.

Which GMC Acadia trim should I buy?

The 2024 GMC Acadia offers these trims:

• Elevation: This is the entry trim and the best-value choice for many shoppers, with standard 20-inch wheels in Canada, a 15-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a 12-speaker Bose audio system.
• AT4: This trim adds the off-road-focused twin-clutch AWD system, a 2.5-centimetre ride height lift, skid plates, Terrain mode, 18-inch wheels with all-terrain tires, red tow hooks, and blacked-out exterior details.
• Denali: This is the upscale pick, with unique grille detailing, leather seats, the fractal stitch pattern, and available 22-inch wheels.

What GMC Acadia do most buyers choose?

The GMC Acadia years with the most listings are 2024, 2023, and 2022.

These higher-volume model years tend to be popular because they give you more inventory to compare, which can make it easier to find the right trim, colour, and price. They also often sit in the sweet spot between newer features and more accessible used pricing.

What is the GMC Acadia's resale value?

Most Acadia model years are down year over year, which is good news if you’re shopping used and want more room to negotiate. The steepest drops are concentrated in older and newer model years alike, while a few recent years have fallen by a smaller amount. Overall, the pattern points to a market where used buyers can find meaningful value across much of the lineup.

The 2020, 2021, and 2019 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
