What should I look for when buying a used Chevrolet Corvette?

Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: The 2LT trim adds blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and GM’s rear camera mirror.
• Infotainment: The 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Chevy’s Infotainment 3 system includes wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto connectivity.
• Fuel efficiency: The base 6.2-litre V8-equipped model returns fuel economy of 15.0 litres per 100 kilometres in city driving, 9.8 on the highway, and 12.7 combined.

Which Chevrolet Corvette trim should I buy?

The 2023 Chevrolet Corvette offers these trims:

• 1LT: This is the entry point, with 19-inch front wheels, 20-inch rear wheels, a fully digital instrument panel, eight-way power adjustable GT1 bucket seats, leather upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a Bose 10-speaker stereo system.
• 2LT: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers, adding navigation, a performance data and video recorder, a 14-speaker Bose stereo, heated and ventilated seats with available suede inserts, a heated steering wheel, driver’s seat lumbar control, wireless device charging, interior cargo nets, and a head-up display.

What Chevrolet Corvette do most buyers choose?

The Chevrolet Corvette years with the most listings are 2024, 2025, and 2023.

Higher-listing model years usually give you more choice in trims, colours, and price points, which makes them easier to shop. They also tend to be the years where you can compare more examples side by side and find a better match for your budget.

What is the Chevrolet Corvette's resale value?

Most model years in the table are down year over year, which is good news if you’re shopping used and want to benefit from softer pricing. A few newer examples are moving differently, so the market is not falling in a straight line across every year. The biggest drops are concentrated in older and recent model years alike, which creates opportunities at several price points.

The 2025, 2022, and 2017 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Is the Chevrolet Corvette safe?

• 2023: 5/10
• 2022: 6/10
• 2021: 4/10

The 2023 Corvette includes a backup camera, rear parking sensors, and a full array of front- and side-impact airbags, while the 2LT trim adds blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and GM’s rear camera mirror.

For the safest used buy, the 2022 model posts the highest confirmed score of 6/10.
