Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: AcuraWatch, including forward-collision warning, pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, lane centring assist, and adaptive cruise control with traffic-jam assist.

Which Acura MDX trim should I buy?

The 2026 Acura MDX offers these trims:

• Tech: the entry trim gives you the MDX’s core luxury-SUV formula with standard AWD in Canada and the latest cabin and safety tech.
• A-Spec: adds a sportier visual treatment and a more distinctive cabin presentation for buyers who want extra style.
• Platinum Elite A-Spec: the best-value trim for many shoppers, adding blacked-out exterior details, quilted leather upholstery, and a more upscale look and feel.
• Type S Ultra: the performance-focused choice, with a more powerful turbocharged engine and other upgrades for buyers who want the most capability and presence.

What Acura MDX do most buyers choose?

The Acura MDX years with the most listings are 2024, 2023, and 2025.

These higher-volume years tend to be popular because they give you more inventory to compare, which can make it easier to find the right trim, colour, and price. They also sit in the sweet spot where newer features and broader availability often overlap.

What is the Acura MDX's resale value?

The table shows broad year-over-year price declines across the MDX range, which is good news if you’re shopping used. Newer model years are also falling, but by smaller percentages than many older ones, so recent examples still command stronger prices.

The 2025, 2022, and 2019 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
