What Volkswagen Golf GTI do most buyers choose?

The Volkswagen Golf GTI years with the most listings are 2023, 2024, and 2025.

These higher-volume years tend to be the easiest places to shop because they give you more inventory to compare, which can improve your chances of finding the right colour, mileage, and price combination. They also tend to attract more attention from shoppers, which helps explain why they remain popular used picks.

What is the Volkswagen Golf GTI's resale value?

Most model years in the table are down year over year, which is good news if you are shopping used and want to benefit from softer pricing. The largest drops are in the double digits, while the smaller declines still point to steady downward movement across the lineup. That pattern suggests there are opportunities for value across several model years rather than just one or two outliers.

The 2020, 2015, and 2023 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
