What Volkswagen Golf GTI do most buyers choose?

The Volkswagen Golf GTI years with the most listings are 2023, 2024, and 2025.

These higher-volume years tend to be the easiest to shop because you get more choice in trim, mileage, and condition. They also tend to attract more cross-shopping, which can help keep pricing competitive.

What is the Volkswagen Golf GTI's resale value?

Most model years are down year over year, and several have posted double-digit declines. That pattern can work in your favour if you are shopping used, since it opens up more value across a broad spread of model years. The smallest changes are concentrated in the older and newest examples, which suggests those versions have been moving more steadily than the rest.

The 2015, 2023, and 2024 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
