Used Volkswagen Atlas for Sale near Mitchell, ON

How much does the Volkswagen Atlas cost in today's market?

Used Volkswagen Atlas prices span a wide range depending on model year. Here's what the market looks like right now:

The Volkswagen Atlas's current nationwide average price is $35,704 CAD, and over the past year that average reached a low of $35,704 CAD. Recently, prices have come down for the 2023, 2024, and 2025 models, making now a good time to shop recent model years.

Is the Volkswagen Atlas a good car?

Yes — the Volkswagen Atlas is a strong fit if you want a spacious, family-focused three-row SUV with a roomy cabin and lots of cargo space. The all-generations owner rating is 4.7/5 across every model year in the data.

Owners consistently praise the Atlas for its generous interior space, family-friendly layout, and easy-to-use tech such as Apple CarPlay. The model also earns repeat praise for its comfortable, practical character and its ability to handle passengers and cargo with ease.

Expert reviews rate the 2024 and 2022 models among the highest across all years.

The main trade-offs are a stiff ride, an infotainment system that can be frustrating to use, and performance that feels more relaxed than energetic. Even so, the Atlas remains appealing if you value space, style, and everyday usability more than sharp driving dynamics.

32.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

Are Volkswagen Atlas models reliable?

Owners and experts consistently point to the Atlas’s spacious cabin, family-friendly packaging, and easy-to-live-with layout as its biggest strengths. The model’s practical design and roomy interior come through again and again in the feedback.

• Owners rate the Volkswagen Atlas between 3.0 and 5.0 out of 5 stars across all model years in the data.

For used buyers, long-term ownership risk is worth factoring in because early-model issues and higher repair costs can make a well-documented service history especially valuable.

What Volkswagen Atlas do most buyers choose?

The Volkswagen Atlas years with the most listings are 2024, 2023, and 2025.

These higher-volume years tend to be the most popular used picks because they give you more inventory to compare, which can make it easier to find the right trim, colour, and price. They also tend to attract shoppers looking for a newer Atlas with a broader mix of features and deal opportunities.

What is the Volkswagen Atlas's resale value?

The table shows broad downward movement across every listed model year, which can work in your favour if you are shopping used. The largest drops are concentrated in the older and newer ends of the range, while the smallest changes are still firmly in double digits. That means there are meaningful savings available across the board, especially if you are open to comparing several model years.

The 2024, 2021, and 2023 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Is the Volkswagen Atlas safe?

• 2026: 8/10
• 2025: 8/10
• 2024: 8/10
• 2022: 7/10
• 2021: 7/10
