Good excelleration but the extras added meant getting past 70 was a struggle! build quality when i got the car was very poor, but with a fair amount of time spent looking after the car, build quality improved. cost of ownership was high due to problems with the front bumper, wildlife collisions especially!! but a fun car to own and drive.

C20xe engine conversion, stripped interior, ride height and 42 way damping adjustable Gaz coilovers, Full FIA approved 6 point rollcage and chassis strenghthening all around not a lot can keep with it on the straights and even less around corners, accelerates well too. Factory gsi bodywork in flame red with white 16" Compomotive MO6 alloys and white cage it looks the part too. Just cant wait for the c20let (TURBO) conversion. 210+BHP here we come ; )

I have the 1.4 and it goes quite well. build quality is ok for a 15 year old car. appearance is ok, not amazing. Cost is ok, i spend about £30 a week on petrol and get around 200/250 miles out of it.

Good first car, cheap to buy, low tax group.

very reliable car.... acceptable power o/p with that small engine new spare parts hardly found small car interior very little cargo capacity we bought it 25 years ago i dont remember price low maintenance cost so does old cars
