Used Renault 12 for Sale near Peterborough, ON

actually was a renault 17, yellow colour. Beautiful car, quite reliable for all original, although suffered some rust. The engine was spritely, and the car was well balanced and nimble through corners although no power steering and clunky gearshift took some getting used too. Parallel parking was very difficult. Excellent fuel economy, and pillarless rear windows looked sweet in summer.

Bought from my french teacher (of course) for 45 pounds. Wierd wonderfully squishy french car. Smelt very strange.

great car - solid and reliable - goes round bends - but doesn't drive in a straight line on its own. lack of inertia reel seat belts a big plus while up side down. drove it legally for three months - got 3 points, demolished a brick wall and then rolled it.

Acceleration as 54HP let you accelerate, however enough to move this relative lightweight, easy handling, acceptable braking. It does need repairs, because of the rust that chews already on differend parts, nothing real bad, but needs work to do. Almost tiny body between all those fat modern bodies on the roads, nothing more than basicly needed to drive and carry on. 50mls/gal, easy to maintain, low costs in parts, excellent choice of all parts. It's funny to drive this car, remarcable how much we don't need for...

What i like about it...is that you can do whatever with this car...you can drive it on snow or even drive it on off roads... Its a "kahirat l jibal":P car... Now what i dislike: it has a small and noisy engine...Especially when i get to +100 KM per hour
