The Porsche Macan's current nationwide average price is $53,281 CAD, and its lowest point over the past year was $52,962 CAD. Recently, prices have come down for the 2023, 2024, and 2025 models, making now a good time to shop recent model years.

Is the Porsche Macan a good car?

Yes — the Porsche Macan is a strong choice if you want a compact luxury SUV with a sporty personality and a premium feel. The all-generations owner rating is 4.64/5 across every model year in the data.

Owners consistently praise the Macan for its sporty handling, luxurious interior, and enjoyable driving experience. They also frequently highlight its responsive performance and premium cabin quality, which help it stand out in the compact SUV segment.

Expert reviews rate the 2022 model among the highest across all years.

The main trade-offs are a cramped back seat, limited cargo space, and an infotainment system that can feel less intuitive than the rest of the vehicle. Higher-powered versions also bring stronger fuel use, so the Macan tends to suit buyers who prioritise driving enjoyment and cabin quality over maximum practicality.

What Porsche Macan do most buyers choose?

The Porsche Macan years with the most listings are 2025, 2024, and 2018.

These higher-volume years tend to be popular because they give you more inventory to compare, which can make it easier to find the right colour, trim, and price point. They also often attract shoppers looking for a newer Macan with a broader mix of features and deal opportunities.

What is the Porsche Macan's resale value?

Most model years in the Macan lineup are down year over year, which creates better opportunities for used buyers. The newer years are also showing smaller declines than many older ones, and the latest model is close to flat, which suggests stronger pricing at the top of the range.

The 2025 model year is holding steady, with prices close to flat year-over-year.

The 2025, 2024, and 2019 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
