Customers say

Pontiac cars are known for their comfort, performance, and distinctive styles. Owners frequently highlight the spacious interiors, fun driving experiences, and effective powertrains across models. However, some common complaints involve fuel economy, reliability issues, and occasional interior quality problems. Many drivers appreciate the sporty design and the engaging performance of their vehicles, while others note concerns about mechanical reliability and the cost of maintenance. Despite some drawbacks, Pontiac remains a favored choice for those seeking a mix of fun and practicality.

Yeap! That's my car! Too bad I created my car gurus account a long time ago and I don't remember the email neither the password. I bought it in Mississippi while stationed at Keesler Air Force Base from another airman back in 2005. He was transferred to Germany and he sold it to me. He bought it originally when he was stationed near Alaska. The car had every option available for 1994. When I bought it, I added the front Firehawk fog lights and the newer 1995 OEM wheels. The car was a 6-speed. It was quick. And believe it or not, I bought the car for $3,500 back in 2005 in Mississippi and sold it in 2011 in Puerto Rico. I regret selling it. The interiors were charcoal gray leather. And it was a very quick car, and I used to receive a lot of compliments. Loved that car!

Reviewed a 2009 Pontiac Montana SV6 on Oct 7, 2025

Terrible underbody rust in critical areas that trigger safety concerns. My 2009 Montana only 145k bad transmission unable to replace with rebuilt tranny because rusty bolts, rusty sub-frame is extremely costly. It's such a shame. It was my daily driver. Cosmetically a fooler.

Reviewed a 2005 Pontiac GTO on Sep 26, 2024

Price either needs to be dropped at least $5000 or they need to fix the defects. It needs a new transmission as solenoids for gears 3 and 5 are bad and the shifter is sloppy, has way too much play. The rear differential has a massive leak and the gears were making a lot of noise. Has rust under the body. Clips are broken on the trunk trim and the driver side window trim. When you roll down the passenger window it binds and then opens the passenger door. Engine runs rough when a/c kicks on.
