Used Peugeot 309 for Sale near Langley, BC

The most powerful car I haver ever owned to date. It delivered 105 hp with a 1.9 gasoline engine with carburettor (no injection nor turbo). Reaching over 210 km/h. I don't remember mileage figures. Unfortunately it didn't have Air Conditioning. I only owned it for less than four months.

The performance is awsome. Porsche-like acceleration from the powerfull 1.9 diesel engine (46 kW). Build quality is superb. No squeks, rattles is the car is parked and the engine stopped. Looks are great, I wouldn`t trade it for a Lambo.

Mechanically it was reliable, except the hand brake cable which once or twice froze in the cold Finnish winters. It also didn't rust much, which for a French car in the tough Finnish climate was very good. However, the interior build quality was not very good, and by the time it was 10 years old several bits of plastic were falling off inside.

No looker and bits fell off but in the three years I owned it I loved its performance, handling, practicality and running costs. given that it was a minger nobody ever looked at it twice and I could leave it anywhere. The nearest thing I can think of available today would probably be a skoda

Great off road fitted a bull bar and sump guard good on fuel great for towing go almost anywhere. road handling is great too good fror pushing things too, like skips and trees shame it was not a turbo diesel. loads of fun, never let me down, cheap great car. Gti is very fast.
