4.3 Overall rating for Opel
Customers say
Opel vehicles are generally viewed as reliable and enjoyable, with many drivers praising their fun driving experience, strong engine performance, and economical fuel efficiency. Owners appreciate the build quality and design across models, making them a stylish option on the road. However, some drivers have noted concerns about build quality, particularly regarding interior rattles and space limitations for families. Overall, Opel cars offer a blend of performance, comfort, and value, with a strong nostalgic appeal for many drivers.

I love my Opel, it is very unique and fun to drive! It does not have the best performance in the world, but it more than makes up for it in it's exhilarating driving experience. I will never part with this car!

This was the first car I had, and I still own it. It is the best car at that price I have ever come across. This is recommendable for anyone and the insurance is very cheap with a car like this even though you are very young. Perfect car as the first car.

Performance: acceleration is good but not great. Same for braking. Handling is good, at least for a coupe. Build Quality: car has over 60,000 miles and not rattles, a few squeaks in the interior though. But nothing too bad. Quality of plastics is good, like most European cars. Appearance: I love the exterior styling, as I love coupes. However, the front and back should both have been slightly longer to make the shape perfect. The interior is not too attractive but leather heated bucket seats as well as a good option list (auto A/C for example), makes it a nice interior to spend time in. Cost of ownership: gas mileage is roughly 30 miles per gallon. Maintenance is not too expensive for the moment as only motor oil has been changed.

This is an awesome looking car with a small (1.6lt)l but 192hp powerful car. It is fully loaded with 6 airbags, ESP, recaro front seats, 17 inch alloys, etc. etc. It has a sporty exhaust note. The driving is a pleasure with very precise steering, perfect seatin position. It can accomodate 4 adults easily with a relatively large boot suitable for family use.
