The Nissan Pulsar has been well-received throughout its model years, with drivers consistently praising its fun driving experience, zippy performance, and reliability. Many owners enjoy the quick acceleration and nimble handling, making it a favorite for those who appreciate spirited driving. However, some drivers have expressed concerns regarding performance limitations, handling issues, and the cost of repairs. Overall, the Pulsar remains a practical choice with solid fuel economy and decent cargo space, albeit with occasional quirks that may require extra maintenance.

What people say
Performance – acceleration, braking, handling very good. Build Quality – has it needed repairs? squeaks/rattles - its a Nissan lol but mechanically very good as always Appearance – both interior and exterior styling - SICK lol, very good for a 1991 car designed in the 80's. lots of cool mod cons for the year Cost of Ownership – gas mileage, maintenance - Can be very expensive, especially with the fuel prices of today Fun Factor – is this car fun to drive? yeah! brings a smile everytime you get in it or put your foot down! :)
This car war my first "sport" car. The T-top in the summer time was awesome! All black..Stealth mode! The gas mileage was awesome. I really liked the back tail lights on this thing. They were quite different. I had the best model. It came with the front spoiler that looked like a little front kit. 1.6 engine twin cam at 115hp. It started off quick then it got slooow. I really miss this car and I wished I would've kept it. It was the 2nd nicest Pulsar in Ottawa.
The first car I ever owned - and I loved it - sold it with 189000 klms on the clock, and it was still going strong!
1.6L TBI very good on gas. Snappy acceleration. Handles well in turns, ez to park.GREAT winter car- BIG heat, sure footed with snow tires. Manual is a plus in winter. T tops are fun- give sporty appearance- but tend to leak if gaskets arent maintained properly.
this has been my ride since 1999 when I sold my Gemini. She never misses a beat and I know I can jump in her and drive her anywhere I want to go.currently has 221,000kms on the clock and still has plenty of life in her yet.She is also a good workhorse when she has to tow the trailer.I wont be parting with her anytime yet due to the mortgage
