(9 reviews)the first wagon we had with 3 rows of seats.. one major flaw...a single AC unit... those people in the back... LOL roasted chicken. space was awesome... another major flaw.. tranny's kept blowing.. i had it as a hand me down from my wife when she upgraded to the Suzuki XL-7
Dislike small amount produced. This vehicle possess of tremendous amount of potential modernization and improvement. Over two decades since beginning of production it still looks in a traffic as a swan on a swan lake among surrounded crows It still is as source of inspiration of the poetry, like Little 7 seater.
it has 7 seating capacity but you can barely fit 5, unless the people are all under 5 feet tall. you can move the seats around nicely but if you move the middle seats forward for the rear passengers it takes away 90% to 100% of the leg room for the middle. anyone over 5'8 will feel cramped in leg room in the front seat passenger but will be alright with head room. from experience it doesn't like allot of weight. i tried hauling 5 friends averaging 150-200 lbs and i could feel the car "crying" but if its cargo your moving you have tons of room as the seats can fold down or stay half up. its a fun car and the millage is probably alright its just hard to say as i am comparing it to my 93 colt.
The best SUV/Van ever! Huge! Six seater and it was a standard car. Amazing! I loved this car. My favorite car my dad has ever owned or driven or rented from Enterprise. We were so comfortable in this car on our trips from Dallas to Galveston. No more are made, but I will always have love for the Expo.
Brought this space wagon used from colleague for very low price (HK$8000), just used it as a commuter. Previous owner abused the car very bad with zero maintenance. Engine was ok, transmission was in very bad condition, only works in D and Reverse position. exterior styling is ok, interior is very spacious, but with 7 passenger, it is a bit tight. Gas mileage is not good, but consider the previous owner abused it badly, so it is ok. Fun to drive? huh, yes, since it is already badly abused so i can park anywhere without worrying the car......
