What should I look for when buying a used Kia K4?

Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: Kia’s driver assistance suite includes lane-keeping assist, lane-following assist, driver attention warning, forward collision warning and assistance with car/pedestrian/cyclist detection, and adaptive cruise control with stop and go capability.
• Infotainment: Every K4 comes standard with a 12.3-inch touchscreen display, wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, four USB-C ports, and wireless charging on GT-Line first drive testers.
• Fuel efficiency: The 2.0-litre engine is rated at 8.4 litres per 100 kilometres in the city, 6.0 highway, and 7.3 combined, while the turbo engine is rated at 9.2 L/100 km city, 6.6 highway, and 8.0 combined.

Which Kia K4 trim should I buy?

The 2025 Kia K4 offers these trims:

• LX: The entry trim opens the lineup with the standard 12.3-inch touchscreen, four USB-C ports, and the core value proposition that defines the K4. It suits you if you want the lowest-priced way into the model.
• EX: This trim steps up from the LX and keeps the K4’s value-first formula intact while adding more equipment for everyday use.
• EX+: The EX+ builds on the lower trims and sits in the middle of the range for shoppers who want a better-equipped K4 without moving to the turbo models.
• GT-Line Turbo: This is the best-value trim if you want the stronger 1.6-litre turbocharged engine, eight-speed automatic transmission, and the more engaging GT-Line character.
• GT-Line Turbo Limited: The top trim adds the most premium equipment, including Kia’s navigation system with in-vehicle Google Points of Interest search, the Harman Kardon audio system, and Highway Drive Assist 2.

What Kia K4 do most buyers choose?

The Kia K4 years with the most listings are 2026, 2025, and 2027.

Higher-listing model years usually draw more shopper attention because they give you more inventory to compare, which can make it easier to find the right colour, trim, and price. In the K4's case, the most common years also give you the broadest selection of deal opportunities.

What is the Kia K4's resale value?

The K4's price movement shows a clear drop, which can work in your favour if you're shopping used. A double-digit decline like this creates more room for value-conscious buyers to find a well-equipped sedan at a lower entry point. The 2025 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Is the Kia K4 safe?

Every Kia K4 comes equipped with driver assistance features including lane-keeping assist and lane-following assist, a driver attention warning, forward collision warning and assistance, and adaptive cruise control with stop and go capability.
