Dream car, I had one as a teen and didn’t realize at the time how much I needed it.

Davis-Built Jeeps has taken charge to fixing up this Jeep for me. It is an 81 CJ7 with a Chevy 350 small block v8, T-18 transmission, fiberglass body, 4 inch skyjacker springs, 2 inch body lift, 9 inch Currie Custom rear with Detroit soft locker, stock Dana 30 front, hard top and doors, soft top and doors, bikini top, 33x12.5x15 tires, warn 8000lb winch.

Jeep is an American classic. The CJ series is the Icon of the Jeep lineage. All that came after were progressively more complex, heavier, less focused on being able to run across country and more focused on running across town. The CJ7 is the perfect balance between the sporty cross country 4x4, and the utilitarian go-anywhere and do anything truck. The great grandfather of all modern 4x4 SUVs.

I have owned this baby for 20 years now. It turned 30 in November of 2008. As far as I am concerned, it will be with me for the rest of my life. This is not a common vehicle, and it is not for common people.

I had this Jeep for six years, and I loved it all the time, 304 AMC V-8 with sidepipes, 650 Edelbrock +++ 4 inch lift and 33 inch Boggers, it was a Limited, prodused in '82 and '83 only!
