Fun little car, when little was not good. The battery was almost bigger than its 4 cylinder flat head. The 3 on the floor shifter would have been right at home in a semi tractor, almost 3' tall. The gas tank didn't have a vent, so when a gas station attendant opened it the bang of tank expanding scared an unknowing attendant into the next county. Styling was little box on slightly larger box. the performance got you there and back with out using much gas.

I received my Anglia when I turned 16 and got my drivers license,loved it! When I left home my Dad used it until his death in 1968, with the only repair needed was a broken tie rod. Couldn't beat the gas mileage.

This fine piece of vehicle has been respectfully upgraded with a 130 hp volvo B18 engine and a full roll cage. The front springs is from the rear a saab 95 (not 9-5) and shortened, making the handling extremly good, now it never leans more than 25 degrees in cornering... It actually made more or less the same time in a handling course as a 2005 Ford Focus ST, so evolution my ass!

Good mechanically, body rust held together with paint.
