Customer summary
Eagle cars are known for their enjoyable driving experience and strong performance, especially with models like the Talon that offer turbo capabilities and all-wheel drive. Owners appreciate the fun factor and ability to modify these vehicles for more power. However, reliability can be a concern, with many reporting high repair costs and maintenance issues. While they are fun and affordable, some drivers feel the interior space is lacking for daily use.

I owned this car before it became really popular. One of a trio of sister cars (Talon TSi, Mitsubishi GSX, Laser RS), it combined great handling, luxury, practicality and looks into a phenomenal package. The 4-cylinder turbo combined 195 horsepower with pretty good mileage. The all-wheel-drive was simple but worked very well, tracking through corners like it was on rails and out-performing 4WD vehicles in the snow (if it wasn't too deep). The heater/defroster was one of the best I've seen, blowing heat within a couple of blocks of driving on a cold winter day. The A/C worked well on the hottest days. It had power leather seats, a small rear seat suitable for kids, a removable sunroof, pop-up headlights, cruise-control, cd-player and a host of other options standard. It was very reliable while I had it. My only regret is that I didn't keep it. Best car I ever owned.

I owned this baby for 6 years. Drove it abour 90K miles. Did a lot of mods. Always been there for me.

I love this car. It handles like a go cart and goes very, very fast. This car feels like a race car. The cockpit is wrapped around the driver, and you can tell this car is meant to be driven. It feels like you're in a jet fighter. You feel like the car is a part of you... You feel everything and all of your driver input causes an instant reaction. The handling is excellent, and it is very hard to get yourself into trouble in this car. The car is also kind of rare now, so it feels like you're driving something a little exclusive. This car still gets lots of compliments, and it's 15 years old! I would recommend these cars to anyone.
