What is the Dodge Grand Caravan's resale value?
| Model Year | Current Avg. Price | Year-Over-Year Change |
|---|---|---|

Safety, reliability, great features on the upgraded model all made this the chosen car. The auto doors, lift gate, storage and second row windows are my favorite. Eco mode for gas savings. Bought for a younger person who wants to go on road trips whenever they want.

I really like the keyless entry and the back - up camera. I think the car is a great value . It's not equipped with a spare tire and jack, though, nor could I find how to check or fill the transmission fluid.

Why it stands out
The 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan stands out as a practical, no-nonsense minivan that leans heavily on space, flexibility, and everyday usefulness. It was part of the fifth and final generation, a long-running era that saw the Grand Caravan become a cheaper alternative to its replacement and, by the end of its life, a vehicle often sold to fleets. That context helps explain its appeal: it was never trying to be flashy, but it remained one of the most straightforward ways to move people and cargo with minimal fuss.
What makes this model especially distinctive is the combination of clever packaging and family-friendly convenience features. It offered Stow ’n Go seating, and Dodge also added Swivel ’n Go, which let the second-row captain’s chairs face the third row and included a fold-out table and a flip-around entertainment screen. The Grand Caravan also had MyGIG, a hard drive connected to the stereo that could store and record music as part of the Uconnect infotainment system, plus remote start, power windows for the sliding doors, standard side curtain airbags, and electronic stability control. For buyers who value versatility, those features made it unusually adaptable for passengers, errands, and road trips.
The 2018 Grand Caravan also benefited from the later-generation updates that improved day-to-day comfort and refinement. The 2011 refresh brought a new 3.6-litre Pentastar V6 with 283 hp and 260 lb-ft, along with tweaks to the brakes, tyres, ride height, and rear spoiler to help improve efficiency. It also gained a one-piece dash, softer materials, larger gauges, a heated steering wheel, better fit and finish, and a Stow ’n Place roof rack with fold-away cross rails. At the same time, it was not without drawbacks: the styling was described as drab in the final generation, and the model was known for unreliable four-speed automatic transmissions and chassis flex and vibrations as it aged.
