Dislike the inability to exchange motors with anything but another Daihatsu. Parts can be hard to come by if you don't have a support network. Luckily there are various clubs and forums where folks can buy or exchange parts and information.

I just love the damn car! Sometimes you just like something so much you keep it no matter what. I would not call this a review, I just own the car for my own funky reasons! The build is unique and the color is too. I painted my own art on it. Pics will be uploaded at a much later date due to publicity reasons.

I got this truck from a close friend and I have to say that I am very impressed with the quality of it. It sat for 5 years out in the weather, I got it, replaced the fuel pump and fuel filter and it fired right up! and runs like a champ. The removable hardtop is also very watertight, even when unbolted It doesn't leak when a pressure washer is sprayed at the mating surfaces. The truck is pretty peppy and does pretty good in off road situations.

performance was very average, braking was too jerky, handling was stiff & uncomfy, but it rarely broke down &was very tough & robust for offroading trips. its interior was very cramped for any one 5 ft 10 or more, and was very uncomfy for any journey longer than 40kms, exterior design wasnt bad but my sport rims helped a bit.
