Customers say
The Chevrolet HHR has generally received favorable reviews across all model years, with owners frequently praising its spacious interior, comfortable ride, and excellent gas mileage. Many appreciate the vehicle's versatility for daily use and its unique retro styling. However, common drawbacks include acceleration issues, concerns about handling, and reports of a less refined interior feel compared to other vehicles in its class. Despite these criticisms, many drivers find the HHR to be a cost-effective and practical choice for both families and city driving.

This car is amazing for people who need cargo space and great gas mileage. The back seats go down and create so much room for everything. It's also really comfortable for being a smaller vehicle. I've put 30k miles + on it and it still runs wonderfully. Definitely a perfect fit for a family car or a small business.

Fun to drive, Looks very nice inside and out. Drives well, decent acceleration for a four cylinder. Gas mileage is good, about 38 to 40 on the highway. The only thing I can complain about is the brakes, at times they seem seem to pull or struggle when stopping under normal conditions.

What a fun, great looking ride! 30+MPG, leather heated seats, moonroof, traction control, stabillitrack, ABS, AC, 260 watt Pioneer stereo with sub, iPod integration, PW, PDL, Remote Start, Cruise. The steering wheel is amongst the best I've ever personally owned, leather wrapped with controls for Cruise and stereo on the wheel. Handling is excellent, car is easy to drive with magnetic variable assist steering. Breaking is good with 4-wheel ABS, 2.4L engine returns over 30MPG on the freeway and a minimum of 22MPG in town. The stereo in the LT2 package is amongst the best I've ever heard in a factory configuration.
