What BMW X5 do most buyers choose?

The BMW X5 years with the most listings are 2023, 2022, and 2019.

These higher-volume model years tend to be popular because they give you more inventory to compare, which can make it easier to find the right trim, colour, and price. They also often sit in the sweet spot between newer features and more accessible used pricing.

What is the BMW X5's resale value?

Most BMW X5 model years are down year over year, which is good news if you’re shopping used and want to benefit from softer pricing. The largest drops are concentrated in older and mid-cycle years, while newer models are still declining but by smaller amounts. That pattern gives you more room to find value across the lineup.

The 2026, 2024, and 2014 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
