performance- quite good for an eightys car, very light, easily modded for handling and power (230 bhp from a t series engine if you want to annoy cozzie drivers) Build- not so good squeeky interior and rust are the main probs Appearance- I like the etch a sketch look but many dont, improoved with mg bits Cost-if you have a diesel you can get 55mpg easy petrol varies from 25 to 40 depending on engine Fun- not fun as such but it feels like home, warm, relaxing and charming, this old girl is easy to fall for and if you do beware you wont forget her in a while

This was a nice car to drive. It was the first car that I owned with a dimmer on the console lights and variable intermitant wipers!!! very comfortable but thirsty, built like a rusty tank! and , as you can see from the picture. . . I struggled to get it around corners in the wet!. . . ooops!

great autotest car, roomy boot, not the best recce car in the world,big brake fade (especially going down to four ways),like a tank to drive without power steering, pretty cheep to run,cut of the edge styling with some fantastic colours (beige is best, simple but affective anti theft device (door handles snap off)

This was quite a nice car, very comfortable, roomy and really quite fast! I bought it when it was two years old from the garage I worked in and it promptly broke down! After it was fixed it proved to be a reliable servant for a year or so when I finally swapped it for my beloved MG. Nice car.

Brick like load lugger that was Austins swansong. The car is a fairly good large family est (station wagon). The car is a typical wardrobe on wheels and typing this review is getting boring. the MPG is a pre oil criss 28 MPG (imperial) but it will cruise well at motorway speeds.
