What should I look for when buying a used Audi Q5?

Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: Active Front Assist, with automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, forward cross-traffic alert, and braking and evasive steering assist.
• Infotainment: A 14.5-inch touchscreen, an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Which Audi Q5 trim should I buy?

The 2026 Audi Q5 offers these trims:

• Base: Standard quattro all-wheel drive, a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, a 14.5-inch touchscreen, an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster, and standard driver-assistance features; best for buyers who want the core Q5 experience.
• Progressiv: Adds more equipment over the base trim and suits shoppers who want a richer feature set without moving to the top trim.
• Technik: Adds the passenger-side 10.9-inch touchscreen, the available Bang & Olufsen stereo, and the optional air springs; best-value trim for buyers who want the most technology and premium features.

What Audi Q5 do most buyers choose?

The Audi Q5 years with the most listings are 2024, 2025, and 2023.

Higher-volume years usually give you more choice in trims, colours, and pricing, which makes it easier to find a Q5 that fits your budget and feature priorities. They also tend to be the years shoppers cross-shop most often, so inventory stays deeper.

What is the Audi Q5's resale value?

Most Audi Q5 model years show double-digit price declines year over year, which can create attractive opportunities for used buyers. The newer model years are also falling, but at a somewhat smaller pace than several older ones, so recent inventory still offers meaningful value. The 2021, 2025, and 2015 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
