What should I look for when buying a used Audi Q5?

Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: Active Front Assist, with automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, forward cross-traffic alert, and braking and evasive steering assist.
• Infotainment: A 14.5-inch touchscreen and an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster, with a third 10.9-inch touchscreen on Technik trims and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Which Audi Q5 trim should I buy?

The 2026 Audi Q5 offers these trims:

• Base: Standard quattro all-wheel drive, a 2.0-litre turbocharged inline-four with 268 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque, a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, a 14.5-inch touchscreen, an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster, and a comfortable, upscale cabin make this the entry point for buyers who want the core Q5 experience.
• Progressiv: Adds more equipment and suits buyers who want a better-equipped Q5 without moving to the top trim.

What Audi Q5 do most buyers choose?

The Audi Q5 years with the most listings are 2024, 2025, and 2023.

These higher-volume years tend to be the easiest places to shop because you get more inventory to compare and a better chance of finding the right colour, trim, and price combination. They also tend to attract more deal-priced listings, which can make them especially appealing for used buyers.

What is the Audi Q5's resale value?

Most model years show double-digit price declines, which creates more room for used buyers to find value. The newer and older years alike are moving lower, and the pattern points to a market where shoppers can benefit from broad price softening across the range.

The 2025, 2021, and 2018 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
