What Audi A5 do most buyers choose?

The Audi A5 years with the most listings are 2024, 2025, and 2026.

These higher-volume years tend to draw the most attention because they give you more inventory to compare, which can make it easier to find the right trim, colour, and price point. They also often sit in the sweet spot between newer features and broader used-market availability.

What is the Audi A5's resale value?

Most of the model years in this set have moved down sharply over the past year, which can create stronger value for used buyers. One year shows a price increase, but the overall pattern is dominated by double-digit declines. That makes the recent used market especially attractive if you're looking for a newer A5 at a lower entry price.

The 2014, 2016, and 2019 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Should I buy a used Audi A5 now or wait for the next model?

Buy now if:

• Price trend: The 2019 model is at −15.19% versus a year ago, and the 2018 model is at −16.68%.
• Deal availability: The 2019 model has 22.9% good and great deals.
• Sweet-spot year: The 2024 model has the most listings.

If you're buying used today, the 2024 model year offers the best mix of value and availability. If you want the newest version, it may be worth waiting for the next model year's inventory to build up.
