What Audi A5 do most buyers choose?

The Audi A5 years with the most listings are 2024, 2025, and 2026.

These higher-volume years tend to attract more shoppers because they give you more inventory to compare, which can make it easier to find the right trim, colour, and price point. They also often become the default starting point for buyers who want a newer A5 with broader selection.

What is the Audi A5's resale value?

The table shows broad downward movement across the model years listed, which can work in your favour if you're shopping used. The largest drops are in the newer and mid-cycle examples, while the oldest year in the group has moved down by a smaller amount. That mix suggests there are opportunities to find stronger value in several parts of the lineup.

The 2014, 2019, and 2018 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Should I buy a used Audi A5 now or wait for the next model?

Buy now if:

• Price trend: The 2025 model is at −24.4% versus a year ago, and the 2019 model is at −17.04%.
• Deal availability: The 2025 model has 25.3% good and great deals, and the 2019 model has 27.8%.
• Sweet-spot year: The 2024 model has the most listings.

If you're buying used today, the 2024 model year offers the best mix of value and availability. If you want the newest version, it may be worth waiting for the next model year's inventory to build up.
