What should I look for when buying a used Acura RDX?

Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: AcuraWatch, with forward collision warning with pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, lane-centring assist, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and adaptive cruise control.
• Infotainment: a 10.2-inch display with the TTI touchpad interface, plus wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, Alexa Built-in, SiriusXM satellite radio, AcuraLink connected services, and a Wi-Fi hotspot.

Which Acura RDX trim should I buy?

The 2025 Acura RDX offers these trims:

• Base: Standard turbocharged four-cylinder power, all-wheel drive, a panoramic glass sunroof, ambient lighting, quality interior materials, and AcuraWatch; a strong value choice if you want the core RDX experience.

• Platinum Elite A-Spec: Adds full leather upholstery, adaptive damping suspension, low-speed front and rear braking, and a surround-view camera system; the best-value trim if you want the most complete feature set.

What Acura RDX do most buyers choose?

The Acura RDX years with the most listings are 2020, 2023, and 2024.

These higher-volume years tend to be popular because they give you more inventory to compare, which can make it easier to find the right colour, trim, and price. They also often sit in the sweet spot between newer features and more accessible used pricing.

What is the Acura RDX's resale value?

Most Acura RDX model years are down year over year, and several recent years show double-digit declines. That pattern can work in your favour if you are shopping used, because it suggests more room for value compared with a year ago. The smaller changes at the lower end of the table show that some older model years have softened less than others.

The 2015, 2021, and 2018 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
