New & Used 2027 Honda Passport for Sale nearIngolf, ON

Is the 2027 Honda Passport a good car?

The 2027 Honda Passport earns a 7.8/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Safety at 9/10.

It’s a strong fit if you want a family-focused two-row SUV with standard all-wheel drive, a standard V6 engine, and a roomy cabin with useful storage. Honda also positions it as a practical choice for buyers who want a more traditional powertrain and a TrailSport setup that is better prepared for rougher terrain.

The trade-offs are clear: uncomfortable seats and awkwardly placed grab handles are part of the package, and the price is high.

With 30.6% of listings priced as good or great deals, the market gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2027 Honda Passport reliable?

The 2027 Honda Passport is presented as a straightforward gasoline SUV with a standard V6 and standard all-wheel drive, which supports a conventional ownership experience. Honda also gives it a long list of standard equipment, including driver-assistance tech and useful camera systems, which can help reduce day-to-day hassle.

Its performance notes point to smooth highway acceleration and enough torque for low-speed off-road manoeuvres, while the TrailSport updates add more suspension refinement and ground clearance for 2027. The standard equipment list also includes features that make the vehicle feel well equipped from the start.

For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is that its higher purchase price can make repairs and depreciation feel more painful if you plan to keep it for many years.

What should I look for when buying a used 2027 Honda Passport?

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: All Canadian trims come in TrailSport configuration, with orange front recovery hooks, TrailSport badging, all-terrain tires, and amber hood-scoop lights. Lower trims use easy-to-clean leatherette seating surfaces, while TrailSport Touring trims add perforated leather.
• Powertrain: You get a standard V6 engine with 280 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. It is described as smooth on the highway and well suited to low-speed off-road manoeuvres, and the 2027 TrailSport has more than 70% of its suspension reengineered plus 35 millimetres of extra ground clearance.
• Safety package: Honda Sensing is standard and includes automatic emergency braking, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, high beam assist, road departure mitigation, and a driver attention monitor. Standard safety equipment also includes blind spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, parking sensors, a rear seat reminder, and the multi-view camera system.
• Infotainment: Standard tech includes a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless phone charging, Google built-in, and a power liftgate with programmable height. TrailSport models also get the TrailWatch camera system, ambient lighting, and heated power-folding side mirrors.

Should I buy a 2027 Honda Passport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2027 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2027 if:

• 30.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• The refreshed TrailSport trims gain upgraded suspension, extra ground clearance, and standard TrailWatch cameras.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It offers a redesigned cabin and cargo-friendly packaging.

The bottom line: If you want the latest TrailSport updates and the strongest standard equipment list, the 2027 is the better target. If you’re mainly focused on value and can live without the newest off-road and camera upgrades, the 2026 is worth a look.
